|
|
Residing enterprises in the zone will enjoy the preferential policies of Pudong New Area and Kangqiao Industrial Zone. The main points are as follows:
1. The income tax rate for Chinese and foreign-invested production related enterprises in the zone is 15%. The local surtax is exempted.
2. Production related enterprises with foreign investment enjoy two years of the income tax exemption and three years of 50% reduction.
3. After the expiry of the tax reduction and exemption period, the income tax on foreign-invested enterprises, whose product export volume accounts with more than 70% of its annual sales volume or being classified as advanced hi-tech enterprises, can be levied at a rate of 10%.
4. Equipment for self-use imported in conformity with Encouraged Category and Restricted Category B of Industrial catalog Guiding Foreign Investment will be exempted from tariff and imported-related value-added tax.
5. Equipment for self-use imported for domestic investment projects which conforms to 'the Category of Industries, Products and Technology Currently Encouraged by the State for Development ' will be exempted from tariff and import related value-added tax.
6. Foreign investors will enjoy the exemption from income tax on the amount of profits remitted abroad and the real estate tax, and will enjoy the preferential treatments such as being refunded the income tax when reinvesting.
